Bird Electric considers health and safety one of the most important functions of every project. Our safety team consists of a VP of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), EHS Manager, seven (7) Safety Officers, and two (2) safety admin personnel to oversee all safety-related aspects of the company, including additional project specific safety personnel. Bird Electric is committed to maintaining our zero incident policy. Safety does not begin when we mobilize to the project site; it begins upon award of the contract. Bird Electrics’ efforts have resulted in creating a safe work environment for its employees. All Bird Electric employees from the Leadership to the field technician are responsible for everyone’s safety as well as their own, including the environment. To highlight our commitment to this, Bird Electric adheres to “Stop Work Authority”, where all workers have the responsibility and obligation to stop work when a perceived unsafe condition or behavior may result in an unwanted event, from the Groundman to General Foreman.
